1992 - 1995

冷戦の終わりは、世界中の人々の生活に影響を及ぼした。1970年の「安保」日米安全保障条約もそのひとつだ。
私は、10代の頃、社会主義に影響を受け、社会主義とは一体なんであったかを見つけ出すために、1992年から1995年までの間、４度キューバに訪れた。厳格なイメージのロシア社会主義とは違って、キューバの人々は親切で底抜けに明るかった。そのことは明確だとしても、キューバにある諸問題を解決することはいまだ困難である。寛容で誇り高いキューバの人々がこれらの諸問題を解決し、激しい対立から解放され「安全着陸」出来る日が来る事を、私は心から願っている。

The resolution of the Cold War has engendered various in the lives of people around the world.As one of the 1970 "Ampo"(U.S.- Japan Security Treaty)generation.
I was influenced by Socialism in my teens, and I traveled to Cuba four times between 1992 and 1995 to find out exactly what Socialism was.
Quite unlike the stern image of Russian Socialism, I came to love the boundlessly cheerful and kind people of Cuba.
There are simple and clear-cut, yet difficult to solve, problems in Cuba. I sincerely hope this generous and proud people are able to solve their problems and come to a "soft landing"free of strife.
